Good Bye from our intern, Johanna
Today is the last day of my internship at Aigner/Prensky Marketing Group and I can’t believe how fast the semester flew by! I have learned so much more than I could have ever imagined during my time here. I have realized that studying public relations in a classroom is so different than learning by doing. Every day at Aigner/Prensky was filled with a new lesson and a new connection; I now truly understand the full circle of how public relations works. Before this semester I did not understand the extent of all the behind the scenes work that goes into a successful public relations campaign. In the classroom setting I have created countless case studies and press releases, but when I was given the privilege to work with real people and real accounts I finally understood how important the role of public relations is. Aigner/Prensky does an excellent job fitting the needs of all their individual accounts, and they provided the perfect, fun environment for me to learn more about agency PR.
I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity at such a wonderful company, and I have gained so much confidence from this experience. The next stop for me is graduation and then Graduate School at Regis College. I know my knowledge from Aigner/Prensky has given me an advantage when I eventually look for a job in the Public Relations field. I am excited for the future, and I will forever be grateful for the patience, kindness, and wisdom that I was showered with during my semester with Aigner/Prensky Marketing Group.
